6 Week Anti-Poaching Training

TacTrac has been running its anti-poaching ranger training programmes for over 10 years. We are renowned in the industry for the calibre of training and the excellence of our students on graduating.

The six week begins in the Western Cape at the home of TacTrac on Rangers Reserve. Here you will learn the fundamental skill sets of anti-poaching. If you are taking your firearms private and business competencies you will be trained in the best practice of safety and marksmanship. After approximately 2-3 weeks TacTrac transfers you to the Eastern Cape where you will begin to put your new skills into practice in real life working scenarios on both private farms and Big 5 game reserves.

During the programme you will learn about: Firearms; Close Quarters Combat System; Arrest & Restraint Protocols; Man Tracking and Animal Tracking; Observation Post Protocols; Vehicle Searching; Crime Scenes; Field Craft; Survival Craft; Dangerous Game Encounters; Fitness and First Aid.

On this programme you gain certificates in: TacTrac Level 1; Big Game Encounters; Firearms Competencies to Business Level; Stop the Bleed First Aid.
